2009 Summer Show: SATURDAY 13th AND SUNDAY 14th JUNE

Audience - please put the dates in your diary and reserve tickets on Jan 5th!  Dancers: please let me know asap that you are committed to BOTH shows PLUS a rehearsal on the Friday.

Each year our classes have the opportunity to perform in our summer show. We love the dancers to have this chance to see how it feels to be a real performer - and the dancers love it too!

In 1995 we had our first D2D show in Buckingham and since 1999 we have had a show every year and are delighted to report that each show is a greater success than the last. 

The Dance Angels are extremely proud of the D2D dancers .  Wonderfully, the 6 & 7 year olds manage to overcome their stage fright and turn into true dancing-divas!!!  And as far as the older dancers are concerned, well, they're brilliant! In today's climate we seem to hear more bad news about teenagers than anything else, in which case, D2D teens must be exceptional - they are expert in their preparations and really kind in their support of the juniors. Gorgeous girls!

D2D shows include dancers with a variety of experience and because we all pull together, this works well. Our shows include: -

Complete, well rehearsed dances. -

New dance pieces that we're still choreographing. -

Experienced D2D dancers who have been with us for 6,7,8 even 9 years. -

Completely new D2D dancers.

Guest school troupes.

Past shows have been held in town halls, professional theatres, school theatres and we use a professional filming company to make a DVD for the dancers/ uadience ot purchase. None of the D2D dancers has to take part in the show - but we have never met a dancer who didn't want to be out there and proud to dance!
